Jake Ross has been a consultant in architectural acoustics since 2001 and a licensed professional engineer in the state of Oregon in acoustics since 2010. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from Oregon State University in 2001, and a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from O.S.U. in 1991. Jake is a member of the Acoustical Society of America (ASA) and of the American Physical Society.
Jake has been involved in the design of many different building types including auditoriums, schools, hospitals, worship spaces, residential buildings, commercial buildings, and theaters. All acoustical aspects of these project types have been undertaken including interior acoustics and noise control. Jake's previous background as a music educator has been particularly instrumental in the positive design features of schools, auditoriums, and theaters.
